MAURICIO BUSTAMANTE  (Co-Founder)
Method Acting 

Mauricio Bustamante is sharing with us his experience of 45 years of studying and performing plus 25 years of teaching at the Lee Strasberg Theater in film Institute in Los Angeles and New York.

Mauricio began his acting career in his native Mexico City at the age of twelve, working on live television with the greats of the Spanish speaking world. He has acted professionally in the United States since 1967.

Has toured nationally in a variety of starring roles that have given him coast to coast critical acclaim. In NYC, he has appeared in New York Shakespeare Festival, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Puerto Rican Traveling Theater, Repertorio Espanol, Teatro LATEA and Multi Stages. Currently, Mauricio is acting in a number of film projects with established directors from Japan, Israel, US, Spain and Mexico. He is a member of MENSA International, an international high IQ Society.

MARIANO CABRERA (Co-Founder & Artistic Director)
Acting – Building a Character

Mariano Cabrera originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, He is an actor/director and acting teacher with more than 36 years of experience in acting. He has worked in multiple television, film, theater and radio projects since 1986. In Argentina, he is director of his own acting school Nuevo Escenario Mariano Cabrera Estudio de Actuación since its inception in 2009, with an annual enrollment of 400 students, and he is acting coaching specialized in character preparation, a task that he regularly performs in productions cinematographic and national and international television. In New York from 2015 to 2020 he served as Coordinating Teacher of the acting seminars in Spanish at The Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute.

In 2016/2017 he made an international tour of his acting seminars: The Real Act and The Actor as a Reality Generator, which led him to perform in prestigious theater centers in the cities of London, Paris, Madrid and Barcelona.

Mariano Cabrera is president of the Worldwide Network of Acting Studios.

MARIA FONTANALS
Uta Hagen’s technique

Born in Barcelona, Maria is an award-winning actress and faculty member at HB Studio as well as a member of their Artistic Council. She holds a BFA from the Conservatory of Dramatic Arts Eolia (Barcelona) and she is also part of the Hagen Institute alumni where she graduated after being two years at their HB Studio International program (Core).
As an actress, she has an extensive experience on stage. She has performed leading roles with renowned Off Broadway theaters such as Repertorio Español (La dama boba by Lope de Vega, La casa de Bernarda Alba de Federico Garcia Lorca), Teatro Círculo (Fuenteovejuna by Lope de Vega, La vida es sueño by Calderon de la Barca winner of ATI Award as Best Classic Actress, and Seis by Federico Roca winner of five FuerzaFest Awards, including Best Play and Best Actress and three HOLA Awards 2017, including Oustanding Performance by a Female Actor),Theater for the New City (City Girls of Desperadoes by Pamela Enz co-starring with Austin Pendelton and Julie Atlas Muz), Dixon Place, IATI, HB Playwrights Foundation, Teatro SEA, to name a few. In Film and TV, Maria played the lead role for the criminal series Six Degrees of Murder (ID Discovery
Channel). She was part of the cast from the film The Middle of Somewhere, winner of the Royal Film Award 2018 and she was also cast in the short film Latiner, Selected Official for the Latino Short Film Festival. In voice over Maria has been the voice for the Super Wings: Barcelona Birdhouse. Within the past years, Maria has been awarded the national ATI Award 2022 for Best Classic Theater Actress – ATI Award 2020 for Best Actress – Latin ACE Award 2019 for Best Drama Actress – HOLA Award 2018 and 2017 for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor – ATI Award 2018 for Best Actress – FUERZAFest Award 2017 for Best Actress – Latin ACE Award 2017 for Best Comedic Actress.

J. ALLEN SUDDETH
Stage Combat

J. Allen Suddeth has worked professionally for the past thirty years out of the New York area. For Broadway, he has staged fights for the smash hits “Disney’s Aladdin,” and “Newsies,” and the recent hit, “Pretty Woman,” plus the recent revival production of Jekyll and Hyde, as well as Gem Of The Ocean, Saturday Night Fever, Jekyll & Hyde, Angels in America Part One and Two, Loot, Saint Joan, A Small Family Business, and Hide and Seek. Off – Broadway he has worked on productions for The Manhattan Theater Club, Playwrights Horizons, The New Group, Theater For A New Audience, The Public Theater, The Duke, BAM, The Woman’s Project, Ensemble Studio Theater, Second Stage, Riverside Shakespeare, Jean Cocteau Repertory, WestBeth, The Pearl Theater, Cherry Lane Theatre, and the New York Theater Workshop.  Regionally, and in LORT theater he has worked for Centerstage in Baltimore (over 70 productions), The Arena Stage and The Shakespeare Theater in Washington, D. C., as well as The Denver Center, The Huntington Theatre, The Papermill Playhouse, The Hartford Stage, The Alliance Theatre, The Cleveland Playhouse, The Goodman Theater, The Actor’s Theater Of Louisville and The Cincinnati Playhouse In The Park, Seattle Repertory Theatre, The Northshore Music Theater, and the Big Apple Circus, among many others.  As a master teacher, Allen has been on faculty for The Juilliard School, Mason Gross School of The Arts at Rutgers University, The Lee Strasberg Institute, S.U.N.Y. Purchase College, and The Stella Adler Conservatory, as well as being a frequent guest artist at major universities and workshops in the US and abroad.

For television, he has staged action sequences for over 750 programs on ABC, CBS, NBC, and HBO.  He is the author of “Fight Directing For The Theater,” published by Heinemann Press. J. Allen has also taught at the National Stage Combat Workshop for sixteen years, and is the founder of the National Fight Directors Training Program. Allen is also a producer of The Complete Unarmed Stage Combat DVD Library. He has trained over 10,000 students, and tested many thousands more.

He is ranked as one of sixteen recognized Fight Masters in the United States by The Society of American Fight Directors. He is also an “Honourary Fight Master” with Fight Directors Canada, and a  “Fellow” and Life Member of the British Academy of Dramatic Combat.

ANTHONY WELCH
TV Pilot Script Writing

Anthony Welch is an award winning American Actor, Writer, Producer, born and raised in NYC. Theater trained at The Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in New York City, Anthony has appeared in numerous theater and film productions. Anthony lived in Los Angeles from 1990-1995, where he appeared in The Jones Boy at The Third Street Theater, for which he won a L.A. Drama-Logue Critics Award for Best Ensemble Performance as The Trick. Anthony also appeared in the Cult Film Classic, “Life Among The Cannibals”, where he played Detective Charlie alongside Kieran Mulroney. .

Anthony recently created, wrote and starred in an original pilot episode for a TV series he has in development, “Street Smart”, a crime-drama that centers on the opioid epidemic plaguing the U.S. today.
“Street Smart” received a 2021 NYC Web Fest Nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Writing for Anthony, as well as a 2021 NYC Web Fest Nomination for Best Action/Suspense, and won the 2021 NYC Web Fest Award for Best Pilot Episode.
Anthony was also cast in the Martin Scorsese film, The Irishman, as a Prison Guard that personally escorts Jimmy Hoffa, (Played by Al Pacino) out of the prison upon his release. Anthony resides in NYC.

RO SEMINARA (Harpreet Kaur)
Yoga and meditation for the actor

She is an international Kundalini Yoga teacher certified by the Kundalini Research Institute, received in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina and with part of her education and training in New York City.

She is also an instructor of Hata Yoga and co-founder and directs NUEVA YO , she is responsible for directing the practices and physical training and teaches our Yoga for the actor program classes.

EDUI TIJERINA CHAPA
Storytelling / Playwriting / Screenwriting

Writer, playwright, screenwriter and media analyst born in Monterrey, Nuevo León (Mexico) and based in San Antonio, Texas (United States). Bachelor of Social Communication and Master in Higher Education with honorable mention by the Regiomontana University, with almost 40 years of experience in television production, including the Information Coordination of «Siempre en Domingo», one of the most popular variety shows important of Mexican TV, as well as other projects produced by Raúl Velasco, such as «Miss Mexico», «Nuestra belleza Mexico», «Festival OTI Nacional», «Valores Juveniles», «Entrega del trofeo TV y Novelas», «Fantasía Musical», «Galardón a los grandes» and «Noche de valores ​​”, to mention just a few. He is an advisor, workshop leader and jury at various Film Festivals in the United States and Latin America, as well as as a contributor to magazines such as «Valores de Nuevo León», «Arte, Cultura y Sociedad», «En Exclusiva” and “Chiqui”. Author of 4 theatrical pieces and 11 in intimate format (Brief Theater), Script Doctor of infinity of short and long films; scriptwriter of films such as “Jesús de Nazaret” and “Cantinflas”, which in 2015 represented Mexico in the contest for the Oscar for Foreign Film.
Prepare a new part theater, three feature films and two TV-streaming series. The films «Somos invisibles», «Secuestro fetal» and «El naranjo», written by him, were they are in the pre-production stage. Develops the scripts for two television series, same to be held during 2022.

MATTHEW A.J GREGORY
Comedia dell’arte

Matthew is an interdisciplinary theatre artist whose current theater work explores the nexus between art and politics, specifically through use of the comedy as a lens for investigating modern civil issues. He is a theatre generalist with expertise in direction, acting, theatre history and costume design, but is interested in holistic approaches to theatre-making that transcend the boundaries of traditional disciplines. He has directed numerous productions at venues around New York including NYU, Theater for the New City, the cell and the Culture Project. He has performed at the Kennedy Center, the Saratoga Shakespeare Company and Off-Broadway at the Mint Theater. His costume designs have been seen at the Juilliard School, the Wheeler Opera House and the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. Matthew also worked as a costume artisan on various films including “X-Men”, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”, and “Charlie’s Angels”. He has been on the faculty at NYU, the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, Adelphi University, SUNY Albany, Siena College and CUNY. Currently, Matthew is on the faculty at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and the New York Acting Alliance.  In addition, he is Capocomico of The Department of Fools, a Commedia dell’Arte company in NYC.
